Optional bus transfer

We organize a conference bus from Budapest to Veszprém and from Veszprém to Budapest.

The bus wears a CBMI2013 logo. The time schedule:

Budapest-Veszprém (16.06.2013)

  • 19.30 Frerenc Liszt International Airport
  • 20.00 Autobuszállomás Budapest Stadionok (M2 Metro Stadionok Station) at Puskás Ferenc Stadion. This is an intercity bus station 4th stop with M2 Metro from the central square Deák tér.
  • 21.45 Hotel Gizella, Veszprém

 

Veszprém-Budapest (20.06.2013)

Departure stops:

  • 07.45 Hotel Medici, Veszprém (at parking zone in front of the hotel)
  • 08.00 Hotel Gizella, Veszprém (at bus stop in front of the hotel)

 

Arrival stops:

  • 10.00 Budapest downtown stops
  • 10.45 Ferenc Liszt International Airport

 

Please be at one of the departure stops at least 15 minutes earlier than departure time!

The bus stops at Buda side of Petőfi-bridge. At this stop you can change to tram line 4 or 6 which goes along the "Nagykörút", the grand boulvard of Budapest.

The bus stops near Népliget Intercity Bus Station, you can change there to the “blue” Metro Line 3, which takes you to the downtown of Budapest (for example “Deák tér”). You can leave your luggage there at Intercity Bus Station.

At Budapest when you want go to the Airport alone, we propose the “Zóna Taxi” taxi service +36-30-365-55-55 (around 12 Euros from downtown) or Airport Shuttle (10-30 Euros depend on departure point).

Please note that the registration fee does not contain the optional bus transfer from Budapest to Veszprém (10EURO/person/direction). If you need this special service, please indicate it on the registration form.

 

TO VESZPRÉM

There are different ways to reach Veszprém by public transportation. This page gives you some hints about travel.

a) From Budapest to Veszprém:

  • By bus (preferred): Buses depart from Budapest at bus station called „Népliget”. The travel is appr. 2 hours. The online timetable is available here.
  • By train: Trains depart from Budapest at "Déli pályaudvar". Travel time is appr. 2 hours. The online timetable is available here.

 

b) From Liszt Ferenc International Airport to bus station "Népliget":

  • By airport minibus (preffered): There is a city minibus service called Airport Shuttle which provides you a door to door airport transfer within Budapest. The Airport Minibus (+36 1 296 8555) will take you anywhere in the city for the same price. For further information, please visit its homepage: www.airportshuttle.hu/en  You can make your booking online or on your arrivel to the airport.
  • By public transportation (BKV): First take bus 200E to "Kőbánya Kispest" then Metro M3 to "Népliget".
  • Take a taxi.

 

c) From Liszt Ferenc International Airport to train station "Déli pályaudvar":

  • By airport minibus: There is a city minibus service called Airport Shuttle which provides you a door to door airport transfer within Budapest. The Airport Minibus (+36 1 296 8555) will take you anywhere in the city for the same price. For further information, please visit its homepage: www.airportshuttle.hu/en  You can make your booking online or on your arrivel to the airport.
  • By public transportation (BKV): First take bus 200E to "Kőbánya Kispest" then Metro M3 to "Deák tér" then Metro M2 to "Déli pályaudvar".
  • Take a taxi.

 

d) Within Veszprém:

  • From bus station to Hotel Gizella (preferred): It takes about 20 minutes to walk. Alternative is to take a taxi from the bus station.
  • From train station to Hotel Gizella: it is preferred to take a taxi to the hotel.

 

FROM VESZPRÉM (towards Budapest)

a) Within Veszprém to stations:

  • From Hotel Gizella: It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Bus station (preferred). Alternative is to take a taxi to the bus station.
  • From Hotel Gizella to train station: it is preferred to take a taxi to the train station.

 

b) From Déli pályaudvar (Déli railway station) to Liszt Ferenc International Airport:

  • By airport minibus: There is a city minibus service called Airport Shuttle which provides you a door to door airport transfer within Budapest. The Airport Minibus is reachable at +36 1 296 8555 or you can make your booking online.
  • By public transportation (BKV): Metro M2 to "Deák tér" then Metro M3 to "Kőbánya Kispest". Then take bus 200E.
  • Take a taxi.

 

c) From Népliget autóbusz állomás (Népliget Intercity Bus Station) to Liszt Ferenc International Airport

  • By airport minibus (preffered).
  • By public transportation (BKV): First take Metro M3 to "Kőbánya Kispest" then bus 200E to the Airport.
  • Take a taxi.
